Bar Wish List

We're always looking to increase the range of cocktails available at the Tiki Bar. Currently, we'd be interested in adding the following items to our already dizzying array. Each list is in approximate order by priority.

Liquors we don't have

NOTE: These are likely to be HARD TO FIND, especially in Virginia (if they weren't we'd own them already).

  1. Lime Vodka, any brand - it appears that our goto Finlandia Lime is no longer manufactured so we are entertaining new entrants in the category
  2. Voodoo Tiki Tequila Reposado
  3. Barbancourt 15 Year Rum
  4. Ron Zacapa XO Rum - the King of Rums. EXPENSIVE
  5. Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 - the Prince of Rums and my goto sipping rum

Liquors we are always running out of

These should be available just about anywhere

  1. 1800 Tequila - Margaritas are the most frequently ordered cocktail according to our statistics
  2. Kraken Spiced Dark Rum - We tend to go through a bottle of this stuff every party.
  3. Captain Morgan's Tattoo - Tattoo & Gingerale is a favorite at the Tiki Bar
  4. Parrot Bay Coconut Rum - great stuff - goes in a "Day at the Beach", a "Creamy D" or the old standby "Parrot Bay & Pineapple Juice".
  5. Sour Apple Pucker - Cup and I drink this stuff like water
  6. Bacardi Superior - what is a Tiki Bar without Rum? This is our basic rum and it is what goes in our oft-coveted Strawberry Banana Daiquiris
  7. Finlandia Vodka - despite being a rum-heavy bar, somehow we go through a fair amount of vodka. Finlandia is great for the price.

Mixers

  1. Blenheim Extra Hot Gingerale (pink cap) - we've got some, but are always looking for me since we have no local source. Primarily available from "South of the Border" on I-95 in South Carolina. If you happen to be passing by, please consider stopping and picking us up a case.
  2. Stirrings Authentic Pomegranate Grenadine - This stuff is awesome, but we have no local source.

Equipment

  1. G System Keg Coupler - if we ever want Bass, Boddington's, or Anchor Steam on tap, we'll need one of these.
  2. A System Keg Coupler - if we ever want Paulaner, Spaten or Warsteiner on tap, we'll need one of these.
  3. New Kegerator Drip Tray - The drip tray that came with the kegerator is insufficiently classy.
  4. New Kegerator CO2 Regulator - This dual-guage regulator would allow us to actually see when the CO2 is getting low in the tank
  5. Tiki Decor - This is one great source for it.
